Gym Activity Introduction Class: Intro to Scent Work
Does your dog love to sniff, search, and investigate? Our Intro to Scent Work class is a beginner-friendly session designed to introduce dogs to one of the most mentally enriching activities Canine Cardio offers.
Scent work allows dogs to use their natural sense of smell in a structured and rewarding way. It can help support focus, confidence, problem-solving, and mental stimulation. This makes it a great option for dogs of many ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels.
This intro class is perfect for dogs who enjoy sniffing, dogs who need more mental enrichment, and owners who want to learn how scent-based activities can benefit their dog. Our team will explain the basics, guide your dog through beginner-level scent work, and help you understand how this activity works.
Introduction to Gym Activity classes will be held at 1:00 PM on scheduled Saturdays and Sundays, with each class lasting approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Each Intro Class includes the regular activity price plus a $10 intro class surcharge. Tickets must be purchased through the website in advance.
What to Expect
During Intro to Scent Work, our team will introduce your dog to simple scent-based exercises and explain how dogs use their nose to search, focus, and problem-solve.
This class is a wonderful fit for dogs who may not need intense physical activity but still need a fulfilling outlet. It can also be helpful for dogs who are shy, thoughtful, curious, or easily overstimulated by high-energy activities.
Your dog will be encouraged to work at their own pace while learning a fun new skill.
